Obituary of Carolyn E Mc Guigan

Mc Guigan, Carolyn E. (nee Castañeda) of Totowa died and entered into the eternal glory of God in West Orange on September 14, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Sebastian P. Mc Guigan (1992). Loving Mother of Marion P. Hager, William F. Mc Guigan & Kathy Mc Guigan Castañeda. Mother in law of Mario Duval. Dear Grandmother of Laurie Mc Guigan, Sharon De Laura, William J. Mc Guigan, Marc D'Argenzio and his wife Danielle and Debra Dyer and her husband Daniel. Loving Great Grandmother of Isabel Mc Guigan, Steven D'Argenzio, and Danielle Dyer. Sister of the late Agustin F. Castañeda (2011). Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Totowa, NJ for most of her life. She loved travel and visited many places in Europe, Africa, Central America and the U.S. Most recently she spent time in Spain. She was an Art Teacher for the Pequannock Township Board of Education for 25 years. Carolyn was a member of the Pastel Society of New Jersey and the Passaic County Historical Society. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson and was a member of St. James Rosary-Altar Society, Totowa. Carolyn was a member of NJEA and was a wonderful artist. She studied her vocation and created new art until very recently. Mass will take place at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, on Saturday September 24, 2016 at 10:15 AM. Funeral arrangements are by Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson in Carolyn's Memory would be appreciated.
