I just found out about Roy's passing.. I am extremely sad to receive this news.. much to young to leave this world.. I have many memories of Roy since he was a classmate from elementary school...my prayers to his family . :(

Dear Melissa & Ty, Nick & Beth, and Julie, We were so sorry to hear of your loss of your father, father-in-law and close friend, all tied up into one large happy man! The few times I was around Roy he was smiling. I always presumed that was because family was near and I am guessing from everything I have heard over the years and read, that was the truth. I am certain he has a coveted spot in heaven where he can laugh plenty and also keep a tender eye on all of you! Hopefully, when out of the blue, you feel a smile for no particular reason come over you, maybe it will be your dad, and BFF for you Julie, letting you all know he is near by at the moment just checking in on you! My prayers are with your family ! Roy was a great guy and will be greatly missed by all who knew him ! He made us all laugh at work until our sides hurt and tears were rolling down our cheeks. His stories are part of memories we will cherish forever. heaven gained a great story telling angel and i'm sure he is telling plenty of great stories...Roy will be forever in your hearts and he will be watching over his family and all his friends he met along life's journey on earth.
