Obituary of Patrick J. Daly

Daly, Sr., Patrick J. age 87 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on February 21, 2009. Beloved husband of the former Mary E. Cummins. Loving Father of Ann Marie Kelly and her husband Dr. Michael Kelly of Kinnelon and Patrick Daly Jr. and his wife Gail of Vernon. Grandfather of Patrick T. Daly, Erin Daly and Christine Kelly. Brother of Josephine Jones of East Rutherford. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in County Galway, Ireland, he came to the U.S.A. in 1949 settling in Paterson. He was a Signalman for Conrail Railroad, Lynhurst, for 28 years before retiring in 1981. Mr. Daly was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson where he also served as an usher. He was an avid Mets fan and was dedicated to his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
