Obituary of Eleanor L. Heacook

Heacook, Eleanor L. ( nee Rouy) age 91 of Albany, N.Y. at rest in Guilderland, N.Y.on February 20, 2009. Beloved wife of the late William F. Heacook. Loving Mother of Ann M. Capobianco and her husband John of Albany, N.Y. Dear Grandmother of Daniel J. Capobianco of Albany, N.Y. Sister of the late Genevieve Quinn, Dorothy Alviene - Romano and John Rouy. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Lyndhurst, she lived in Paterson for most of her life, then in North Haledon before moving to Albany in 1982. Mrs. Heacook was a Registered Nurse for the Paterson Board of Education, Paterson for twenty eight years before retiring in 1979. She was a former parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park. She graduated from All Souls Hospital School of Nursing, Morristown. She loved music and was a great cook. Mrs. Heacook was dedicated to her family. The family would like to thank the staff of Our Lady of Mercy Life Center for their outstanding care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
