Penny, George A. age 91 of Hillsborough formerly of Barnegat and Totowa at rest in Princeton on December 26, 2008. Beloved husband of the late and former Jane Vivian (2003). Father of Susan J. Martin and her husband Richard of Barnegat, Joyce M. Nordstrom and her husband Earl of Hillsborough and Cindy L. Sakofs and her husband Paul of Nutley. Grandfather of Jason Bielauskas, John Nesgoda, Amanda Wollert, Matthew Nesgoda and Jocelyn Nordstrom. Brother of Florence Mc Kinley of Whiting and Donald Penny of North Carolina. Born in Paterson, he lived in Totowa most of his life before moving to Barnegat in 2000 and then to Hillsborough in 2006. Mr. Penny was a Quality Control Inspector for Automatic Switch Co., Florham Park for many years before retiring in 1985. He was a WW II Army Veteran and a former member of the Totowa Happy Seniors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Healing Heroes, Operation Home Front, N.Y., N.J.
