Robertson, Alexander age 87 of Franklin Lakes at rest in Franklin Lakes on November 20, 2008. Born in Paterson, he lived in Clifton, then in Paterson before moving to Franklin Lakes 3 years ago. He was a Machinist for Curtis Wright Aeronautical, Wood Ridge for 45 years before retiring. Mr. Robertson was WW II Navy veteran. Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Midge" (nee diBenedetto). Loving Father of Margie Leet of Riverdale, Alex Robertson of Oak Ridge, Bruce Robertson of Forked River, and the late Michael Robertson. Grandfather of 8 and great grand father of 5. Preceding him in death was a brother James Robertson and 2 sisters Margaret Robertson and Anna Pierpoint. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM.. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly 140 Shepherds Lane, Totowa, NJ 07512 would be appreciated.
