Battagliese, Helen M. (nee Stonebridge) age 90 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on October 18, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Battagliese. Mother of Jo Ann F. Both and her husband James of Totowa, Fred A. Battagliese and his wife Barbara of Lakeville, PA., Robert "Bob" Battagliese of Totowa and the late Neil J. Battagliese. Grandmother of Donna Mc Cartin, Laurie Calandriello, James Both, Neil J. Battagliese Jr., Anthony Battagliese, Paul Battagliese, Michael Both and Mark Battagliese. Great Grandmother of ten. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1948. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Battagliese was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a member of the Totowa Seniors. She was also a member of the Totowa Italian-American Independent Club since 1948. Mrs. Battagliese was a great cook, a great grandmother, and an avid N.Y. Yankee fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 &7-9 PM.
