Obituary of Virgilio DiGenova

DiGenova,Virgilio age 89 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on June 21, 2008. Virgilio and his wife of 55 years Maria, emigrated to America from their hometown of Montella, Italy in 1955. A retired employee of the Ford Motor Company, Mahwah, gardening was his life-long passion. He was a parishioner of St. Gerards R.C. Church, Paterson. Devoted father and husband and one of 8 siblings, he is survived by his wife Maria (nee Cianciulli) sons, Rino and Salvatore, grandchildren Nicholas, Salvatore, Danny and Gabriella. Brother of Salvatore, Grazia and the late Rosario, Ernesto, Emilio,Angiolina and Michele. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St.Gerards R.C.
