Rhoads, William L. Sr. age 85 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on May 6, 2008. Born in Shamokin, Pa, he lived in Totowa over 50 years. He was a Fire Man for Susquehanna Railroad. He then worked as a truck driver for Rodgers Brother, Paterson. Mr. Rhoads was a WW II Navy Veteran who received the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Beloved husband of the late Wilnetta N. (nee Puch). Loving Father of Donna L. Wickle and her husband, Ronald C. of Virginia Beach, VA, Cindy L. Ferrazano and her husband, Edward of Glenwood, NJ and William L. Rhoads, Jr. Brother of Margaret Barney of NC, Betty De Koeyer of CT and late Ruth Mak. Grandfather of Kenneth R. Wickle and his wife, Valerie, Jennifer L. Wickle, Douglas W. Wickle, and Shawn A. Rhoads. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 7-9 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
