Obituary of Josephine M. Cropanese

Cropanese, Josephine M. (nee Croce) age 85 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 18, 2007. Beloved wife of Anthony Cropanese. Mother of Rosemarie E. Lasenick and her husband Peter M. of Bloomingdale and Diane Piccolo and her husband Gerard of Pequannock. Grandmother of Michele Puzio, Dina Van Lenten, Michael Lasenick, Steven Piccolo, Michael Piccolo and Laura Lo R. Great-grandmother of Ashley Fedor, Evan Van Lenten, Emily Van Lenten and Garrett Puzio. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. She was a Sewing Machine Operator for Mayflower Coat Company, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1984. Mrs. Cropanese was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson and a member of its Senior Citizens Group. She was also a member and a former chair lady of the I.L.G.W.U., New York, Local #134. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. There will be no visitation on Thursday.
