Fleming, Michael age 84 of Wharton at rest in Dover on July 2, 2026. Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Kedaityte) Fleming. Loving father of Michael P. Fleming, Jr. and his wife Kelly, Kelly Delvescovo and her husband Jerry and Lisa Fleming and her husband Ken Werner. Former husband of Toni Fleming. Brother of Robert Fleming and his wife Zina, James Fleming and his wife Bettina, Adele Fleming and the late Eleanor Difidi and Jane Fleming. Grandfather of Shannon, Amanda, Michael, Rachel, Benjamin and Jerry. Great-uncle of the late Emily Fleming. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life, then Oak Ridge, before moving to Hackettstown. He was a Firefighter for the Paterson Fire Department, Paterson, for thirty-nine years, before retiring in 2003 as Battalion Chief. He was a Navy Veteran, who served in the Cuban Missile Crisis. Michael was also a member of the NJFMBA, Local, #2. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 12:00 PM. Friends may visit Tuesday 10-12 PM. Cremation is private at the request of the family.
