Santoro, Maria (nee Saulino), age 86 of Wayne at rest on June 27, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Pellegrino Santoro (2011). Loving mother of Joseph A. Santoro and his partner Denise Vazquez and Louis S. Santoro and his wife Michele. Adoring grandmother of Jeannine Santoro, Anthony Santoro, Gabriella Santoro, Gianna Santoro, Joseph Santoro, Jenna Santoro, and William Santoro. Dear daughter of the late Pellegrino and the late Vincenza (nee Briglia) Saulino. Beloved sister of Gina and sister in-law of Brunella, Cosmo, Teresa, Antoinette, and Nino. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, in Italy, Argentina, New Jersey, and Michigan. Born in Serino di Avellino, Italy, she lived in Italy for 15 years before immigrating to the United States and settling in Paterson. She lived in Paterson for 30 years before moving to Wayne. She was seamstress for various factories in Paterson for many years before retiring in 1990. Mrs. Santoro loved her family more than anything but she especially adored her grandchildren. She loved to cook, garden, and play cards, but spending time with family and friends was her most cherished hobby of all! Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Alzheimer's Association, would be appreciated.
