Marie Testa Obituary

Testa, Marie (née Monjack), 89, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away peacefully in Totowa on June 15, 2026, with her daughters, Eva Marie and Jo Ann Testa, by her side. She was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother to Brandon Testa-Breaud.


Marie is survived by her sister Jackie Clark and husband Bill, her brother Tom Monjack and husband Ron Coronado, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, inlaws, and friends. 


She was predeceased by her Mother Eva Pechulis, Father Joseph and Wife Theresa Monjack, her brothers Joseph and Larry Monjack, and her companion Joan Powell.


Born in WilkesBarre, PA, Marie later lived in Newark and Belleville NJ before settling in Port Charlotte FL in 1993. She worked for many years as a manager in Operator Services at NJ Bell, retiring in 1989.


Marie loved spending time with friends, especially playing cards, BINGO, Mahjong, and Mexican Train. A passionate traveler, she visited all 50 states and many countries around the world—Hawaii being her favorite. Above all, she cherished time with her family, especially her grandson. A lifelong dog lover, she rescued many pets and looked forward to being reunited with them in Heaven.


Cremation at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bridge Program at Passaic Valley Regional High School, Attn: Colin Monahan, Business Administrator, 100 East Main St., Little Falls, NJ 07424.
