"Agnes S. Strasser, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 94.

Born on August 6, 1931, Agnes lived a life defined by love, kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and cared for, often placing the needs of others before her own. Her generous spirit and compassionate heart touched countless lives, and her legacy of love will continue to live on through all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Agnes embraced life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a sense of adventure. She loved traveling, spending time at the beach, and trying her luck at the casino, where she delighted in the excitement of the slot machines. Whether she was exploring a new destination or enjoying a relaxing day by the ocean, she found joy in creating lasting memories with those she loved.

Agnes faithfully supported the Eastern Washington Eagles football team and could often be found on the sidelines of her great-grandsons' sporting events, cheering them on with a bag full of snacks and endless encouragement. She took immense pride in their accomplishments and was one of their most loyal supporters.

Nothing meant more to Agnes than family. She rarely missed a birthday, baptism, wedding, holiday, or special celebration. Family gatherings were among her greatest joys, filled with laughter, dancing, storytelling, and, of course, delicious food. Her presence brought warmth, energy, and togetherness to every occasion, creating memories that her loved ones will cherish forever.

Agnes also had a flair for fashion and loved finding a beautiful new outfit—whether she had an occasion to wear it or not. She carried herself with grace and enthusiasm, always ready for whatever adventure came next. Beneath her gentle and caring nature was a spirited sense of fun that those closest to her—especially her granddaughters—were fortunate to experience. She had a special gift for making people laugh, lifting spirits, and bringing happiness wherever she went. Nothing brought her greater joy than her visits to Washington to spend time with her son and his family, or her trips to the casino alongside her daughter and son-in-law.

Agnes was also a proud member of the Woodland Park Seniors and the Golden Agers, where she enjoyed friendship, fellowship, and many happy times.

Although her family and friends will miss her deeply, they find comfort in the countless memories she created and the love she shared so freely. Agnes leaves behind a lasting legacy of laughter, generosity, strength, and unconditional love—a legacy that will be treasured by her family and friends for generations to come." Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
