Loving father of Vincent (Andy) Carpio, Maria Elena (Tuna) Benavides, Patricia (Patty) Carpio, Rochy (Rochy) Carpio, and Victor William (Billy) Carpio. Dear step-father of Lisette Taylor. Brother of Walter Carpio. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. Born in Chiclayo, Peru, he came to the United States in 1970 and resided in New York before settling in New Jersey. He was the owner of Vic's Beauty Supply Store, Paterson before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
