Loving sister of Francisco Medrano of the Santo Domingo. Born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, she came to the United States in 1987 residing in Paterson.

Amada earned her Master's Degree and was a Biologist in the Dominican Republic. After emigrating to the United States, she was a factory worker and then a home health aide. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road, Totowa, (section 19) on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ASPCA would be appreciated.
