Antonia "Matilde" Terrana Obituary
Terrana, Antonia "Matilde" (nee Miranda), age 92 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on April 22, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Calogero Terrana. Loving mother of Salvatore and his wife Phyllis, Frank and his wife Carmen, Alfonso and his wife Bernadette, Antonio, Sandro and his wife Tracy and Rosanna Mosca and her husband Robert. Dear sister of the late Rosa Albanese, Gandolfa Albanese, Giuseppina Gangi, Antonio Miranda and Franco Miranda. Also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Born in Polizzi, Prov. di Generosa, Sicily, Italy, she came to the United States in 1970 and resided in Paterson before moving to Wayne. She was a Seamstress for Barone Fashions, Paterson, for twenty years, then for High Fashions, Paterson for eight years, before retiring in 1995. Matilde was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U., New York, NY. Matilde cherished her family and enjoyed hosting them for the holidays. She will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit on Tuesday, April28, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be greatly appreciated.
