Hopper, Noreen J. (nee Gorman), age 96 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on April 23, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Archibold "Art" Hopper (1994). Dear mother of the late Robert Hopper, Gregory J. Hopper and David Hopper. Devoted grandmother of Gregory J Hopper, Jr. and his wife Adriana, Steven J. Hopper and his partner Andreya Carvalho, Kelly Catena and her husband Nicholas, Maria J. Hopper and her husband Gideon Rojas, Nicole Hopper and David J Hopper, Jr and his wife Yahaira Hopper. Caring great grandmother of Kylie Hopper, Kelsie Hopper, Dylan Catena, Avelina Rojas, Nathaniel Hopper, Alma Rojas, Victoria Hopper, Joshua Rojas, Jordan Rojas, Nyla Hopper and one on the way. Dear sister of Mary Jacober, Ann Torrento, John Gorman, Robert Gorman and the late Theresa Crane, James Gorman, Walter Gorman, Joseph Gorman, Thomas Gorman, Joan Farraye and Ruth Daken. Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident. Noreen was a Data Entry Operator for Broadway Bank, Paterson, for twenty-seven years then worked for St. Anthony's Guild, New York before retiring. Noreen was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. She was a great baker and cook. She loved to travel to Lancaster, PA and Wildwood NJ with her sisters. She was an avid Met's fan. She was a huge soap opera fan. She also loved to host the holidays. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be deeply missed. Cremation was private at the request of the family. A memorial mass will take place at St. Gerard R.C. Church Paterson on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Arrangements are by Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, New Jersey
