Bamond, Edward J. Sr. age 83 of Haskell at rest in Paramus on March 25, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Rae F. (nee Schuler) Bamond (2005). Loving father of Edward J. Bamond Jr. & his wife Jennifer of Wanaque and Ray R. Bamond & his wife Loretta of Paterson. Dear grandfather of Kerri A. Chomsky & her husband Keith and Ryan D. Bamond & his wife Heather. Devoted great-grandfather of Charlotte, Desmond & Bailey. Edward lived in Paterson before moving to Haskell in 1995. He was a mechanic for Murphy Bus Company, Hawthorne for 27 years before retiring in 2002. He was also a supervisor for the mail department for Hackensack Hospital for 15 years. He had a long history of racing cars and loved motorcycles. In the last five years, he went out in a blaze of glory. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Committal to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel, Paterson. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Paterson PBA Local #1 111 Broadway Paterson, NJ 07505, and/or the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover, would be appreciated.
