Loving Father of Mario La Rosa and Isabella La Rosa both of Lake Hopatcong. Dear son of Teresa (nee Dorino) La Rosa and the late Mario (2014). Adoring brother of Carmine La Rosa and his wife Marisa and their children Gabriella, Brianna, and Christopher of Little Falls, and Clara Giaquinto and her late husband Edward and their children Alexander and Nicholas of West Caldwell. Born and raised in Fairlawn, he lived in Woodland Park before moving to Lake Hopatcong 22 years ago. He was the owner of La Rosa Construction LLC, Fairlawn for the last 36 years. Sal was a great athlete that loved football, lacrosse, and going to the gym. He loved to work to provide for his family and he had so many friends that were like family to him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Catharine Church, Glen Rock at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM.
