It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James "Jim" Cobianchi (Totowa, New Jersey), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on November 11, 2025 at the age of 89.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Julia Jane (Kulig) Cobianchi and his children, James Cobianchi, Susan Cobianchi, and Louis Cobianchi.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two nieces, Joan Pierro and Kim Faure. He was a dear uncle to Michael Kulig and Kim Cipkins. He was predeceased by his sister Joan Alala.

Jim was a person of strength and depth who loved life, his family, and his extended family. He spent many happy times with them enjoying events of relaxation and adventure.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew him and all who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.

A memorial mass will take place on March 24th, 2026 at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa.
