Cammarota, William G. “Bill” age 83 of North Haledon at rest in North Haledon on March 8, 2026.  Beloved husband of Lina (nee Iuliano) Cammarota. Loving Father of Lisa Karaisaridis & her husband Paul of Newfoundland, Lori Albino & her husband José of Franklin Lakes and Joseph Cammarota & his wife Christie of Middletown.  Devoted grandfather of Noah and Christian Monica, Matthew and Lauren Albino & Olivia and Madilyn Cammarota.  Dear brother of Rosa Moschetta of Hawthorne, Gennaro Cammarota of Hawthorne and the late Angelina Barbaro, Caterina Vaccaro, Eva Massanova and Antonio Cammarota.  Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Born in San Mango Cilento, Italy, he came to the United States in February 1961. Bill was the owner/proprietor of Cammarota's Barber Shop, Wayne, and also had a financial advising practice for the past 50 years.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening and mushroom foraging.  He loved making homemade wine and sausage, and preparing traditional fish dishes on Christmas Eve for the annual crew.  He also enjoyed watching Italian soccer and sitting by a cozy fire.  “Nonno Bill” loved being a grandpa and spending time with his grandkids. Bill enjoyed spending his later years with friends and family at his home in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM.  Funeral Mass to follow at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Franklin Lakes at 10:00 AM.  Entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson.  Friends may visit Monday, March 16, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.  For those who wish, donations to the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc @rbari.org/donate, would be appreciated.
