Loving father of Maria Perez and her husband Angel, Evelyn Martinez and Michelle Santiago and her husband Hilton. Dear son of Maria Luisa Rosas and the late Alejandro Martinez. Grandfather of Xavier, Anabella, Sophia, Noah, Angel and Taliyah. Brother of Clara, Martin, Alejandro, Maria De Los Milagros, Miriam, Jorge Luis and the late Maria Esperanza, Abraham, Carlos Alberto and Alex. Born in Lima, Peru, he came to the United States in 1989 and resided in Paterson, before moving to Haledon. He was a Machine Operator for Knickerbocker Machine Shop, Totowa for many years before retiring. Mr. Martinez was an avid soccer player who played in Peru for many years and went by the nickname "Pelele". Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. John's Cathedral, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00-8:00 PM.
