Steinhilber, Eric Allen, age 30 of Totowa at rest on November 14, 2025. Beloved Son of "Momma Bear" Pamela Steinhilber Daub (Wurczinger) and Thomas Daub of Totowa. Beloved Grandson of Dolores Wurczinger, the late Allen Wurczinger, Martha Daub, and the late Albert Daub. A loving nephew to Robin & Michael Both, Steven & Dita Daub, David & Ellen Daub, Michael & Louise Daub, cousins, Aidan Both, Brian, Jimmy, & Stephanie Daub, Elizabeth Loza and her husband Jack, & Gabriel & Genevive Olson. Papa Bear to his girlfriend Emily Sirugo & her daughter Savy, whom Eric Adored.

Born at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, Eric lived most of his life in Totowa. He was very handy and enjoyed fixing things. He worked multiple jobs, such as Shoprite in Ramsey & Little Falls, Ray Keeley Plumbing, & a Union Electrician at the I.B.E.W Local #102 in Parsippany.

Eric was loved by all that met him, he had a natural charisma about him that instantly made you care for him. He was generous and kindhearted. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed it when everyone was together for the holidays and other special occasions. He had a wonderful sense of humor and made us all laugh. He loved his cousin Aidan, & the two where good "buddies".

Eric enjoyed mentoring younger athletes involved in the P.A.L. He was a kid at heart himself. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing with Grandpa. He enjoyed watching football and rooting for his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. He also played football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and floor hockey for the Totowa P.A.L., where his family loved to support him during his games. When he was not playing sports, he spent the rest of his time playing video games.

He loved all animals & would go out of his way to care for them. He will forever be loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him. A treat he really enjoyed having was ice cream daily. He single handedly kept Gelotti's in business with all the stracciatella he ate.

Your family and friends knew you were more than your addiction, we will all remember Eric for the loving and warm person he was. Your battle is over kiddo; you are finally free.

Anytime you see sunshine, remember Eric because Eric has always been his mother's SUNSHINE, her only sunshine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM. Committal will be private.
