In Loving Memory of Gail Ann (Clave) Daly

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Gail Ann Daly, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, at the age of seventy.

Born on June 19, 1955, in Butler, New Jersey, Gail was the cherished daughter of Emery and Edna (Miller) Clave. She grew up alongside her sister, Susan and brother, Peter. She graduated from Butler High School in 1973 and attended County College of Morris, obtaining a degree in Secretarial Science.

In 1976, Gail married her husband of forty-nine years, Patrick Daly. Together they built a beautiful life and home in the Cliffwood Lake section of Vernon, where they raised their two children, Patrick and Erin. Gail poured her heart into her family, always making sure her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

For many years, Gail worked at a doctor's office in Denville, where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met.

Gail found great joy tending to her garden. Her hydrangeas were the envy of the neighborhood. She especially loved the holidays and took great pride in setting up her cherished Christmas village houses and decorations for her children and grandchildren. Gail's greatest joy in life were her three grandsons.

Gail is survived by her devoted husband, Patrick; her children, Patrick and his wife, Jennifer, and Erin and her husband Matthew; her grandchildren, Adam Samuel (11), Patrick James (8) and Jakob Patrick (3 months); her sister Susan and brother Peter; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a prayer service at 4:00 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa. A private memorial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in Gail's name.
