Mastropaolo, Rosario age 81 of Woodland Park at rest in Paterson on October 29, 2025. Beloved husband of Franca (nee Carbone) Mastropaolo. Loving father of Joseph Mastropaolo of Totowa, Michael Mastropaolo & his wife Andrea of Philadelphia, PA, and Jessica Mastropaolo of Totowa. Dear brother of the late Caterina Amato, Graziella Mastropaolo, Olga Mastropaolo, and Concetta Mastropaolo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, he came to the United States in 1966 and resided in New York before moving to Woodland Park 45 years ago.

He was the prior owner of Il Carrettino Pizzeria for many years before retiring. He was a very hard-working man, who worked 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 21 years. He was very dedicated to his family and was known as "Sal" from the pizzeria. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Committal prayers to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel, Paterson.  Friends may visit Sunday from 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
