Dorothy Walton, 82, went to be home to be with her Lord & Savior on October 4th, 2025. She was born on September 23rd, 1943, to Cleveland & Cora (Duren) Neal. Beloved wife of Washington R. Walton. Loving mother of Sonya Thompson and her husband Chris of Minneola, FL, Daryl L. Walton and his wife Jeanette of Paterson, and the late Brian Walton. Dear sister of Richard Pete Neal and his wife Brenda of NC. She is also survived by her daughter in-law, Lisa Walton of Grayson, GA, numerous grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a woman of strong faith who loved Jesus and shaped her life around living a life pleasing to her Heavenly Father. She was not timid in sharing the truth of the Gospel with her family and those she would encounter. She was passionate about seeing her family come into the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus.

Dorothy also had a genuine heartfelt gift of laughter that would ignite your soul. She always preferred others above herself and there was nothing she would withhold from those in need. She contributed to various causes and ministries.

Though we will miss her tremendously, we rejoice in knowing she has now gone back home to be with her Father where there is joy unspeakable, full of glory.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Tuesday November 11, 2025 from 4-8 at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa.  A memorial service will take place at 4:00 PM.
