Abena Chloe Grace Cherewa Owusu, age 18 of Paterson, New Jersey at rest in Manhattan, New York on September 10, 2025. Beloved daughter of George Owusu and Monica Anderson. Dear sister of Brent, Brian, Junior, Jabari, Jamai and Safua. Caring stepdaughter of Paul Brown. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relatives. Born in Livingston, she lived her life in East Orange and Paterson. Abena graduated from Passaic County Technical Institute, Wayne. She belonged to the National Honor Society, the Christian Health Association (CSA), the Health Occupation Student Association (HOSA) and the Gifted and Talented Club at PCTI. She was a member of Calvary International Church, Wayne.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd. Totowa on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM. There will also be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Calvary Temple International, 1111 Preakness Avenue, Wayne, New Jersey with a viewing from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM and service from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations to: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center would be appreciated.
