Ciraulo, Joseph Anthony age 75 of Montville, NJ came to rest in Neptune on September 10, 2025.  Beloved husband of Therese (nee Bush) of Totowa. Loving father of Joseph M. Ciraulo & his wife, Rebecca, of Montclair, and Gerard G. Ciraulo & his wife, Nicole, of Pompton Plains. Adoring grandfather of Charlotte, Evelyn, Cameron, and one baby boy on the way, affectionately known to them as “Poppy.” Dear son of the late Gandolfo “Mo” and the late Mary T. (nee Rizzo) Ciraulo. Brother of Vincent Ciraulo & his wife, Dolores, and their children Kimberly & her husband, Greg, and Christopher & his wife, Dawn. He is also survived by the Bush, Baut, & Laglia families whom he loved like his own. 

Born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn within a Sicilian household, he lived in Glen Rock before moving to Montville. He was an agent for State Farm Ins. in Succasunna for the last 36 years. Joe was a loving, gregarious, and spirited presence with his family, friends, and acquaintances throughout his life. He loved his favorite restaurants, be it Italian, Chinese, or Mexican, and quickly befriended the staff & owners wherever he visited. He enjoyed tennis, bowling, and especially golf, which he played at the Knoll Country Club, Parsippany-Troy Hills and the Breakers West Country Club, West Palm Beach, Florida. Joe also coached his sons’ basketball and baseball team’s in Montville. He was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church, Montville and was involved in the growth of the parish. Joe was an avid sports fan of the Yankees, Knicks, & Jets, for which he held season tickets. Joe was also an early adopter of new technologies, derived from his significant tenure at Burroughs Corp and Hewlett Packard. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.  Funeral Mass will be Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville.  For those wishing to attend the mass, kindly go directly to the church. Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers, Joe would prefer donations to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and/or The Mayo Clinic Neurology Department, 200 1st. Street, S.W., Rochester, MN 55905.
