Titus, Joan (nee Ross), age 94 of Totowa passed away in Wayne on August 8, 2025. Born in Paterson, she lived in Totowa all of her life. Joan was a Bookkeeper for Crazy Horse Inc., Paterson for many years before retiring in 1995. Joan grew up in Totowa at the Buda, a farm that offered hay rides and raised chickens and turkeys. She was the current President of the Happy Seniors of Totowa. She was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants Baseball Team and the Greenbay Packers Football Team. Joan loved to tend to her flower garden and she enjoyed her lake house in Coxsackie, NY. She also enjoyed going to Ocean Grove, NJ and dining at the Starving Artist Restaurant. She was the pillar of current fashion. She loved her dogs, Muffy and Whiskers. Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Beloved wife of the late Deputy Chief Ronald J. Titus (2007). Loving mother of Douglas R.Titus & his wife Leslie of Montville, Gary J. Titus & his wife Donna of Wayne and Scott R.Titus & his wife Marilyn of Aiken, SC. Devoted grandmother of Jamie Titus, Carley Fleres, Leigh Leaf, Eric Titus, Brittany Kotsadam, and Hillary Titus. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association and/or the American Heart Association
