Demarest, Barbara A. (nee Ulrich), age 88 of Woodland Park at rest in Lincoln Park on August 3, 2025. Born in Paterson, Barbara grew up in Fair Lawn before moving to West Paterson where she lived for most of her life. She was employed at Lijoi's Appliance Center, West Paterson for many years before retiring in 2015. She was a former member and President of the West Paterson Women's Club.

Beloved wife of the late James Demarest (2013). Loving mother of James Demarest & his wife Linda, Cathleen Reda & her late husband Eugene, Thomas Demarest & his wife Terri and Patricia Savino & her husband Tom. Devoted grandmother of Michael & his wife Megan,  Lisa & her husband Ian, Gene & his wife Michele, Stephen & his wife Taylor, Aimee & her husband John, Andrew & Brittany, Kristi & the late Tommy

Loving great grandmother of Madeline, Mason, and baby Reda.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday from 11:00 – 1:00 PM with a prayer service at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations to Feeding America (give.feedingamerica.org) would be appreciated.
