Joan Cattaneo (nee Perino), age 97 of Dublin, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 29,2025. Joan was well known for her sharp wit, deep caring, and affectionate nature. Joan embraced each stage of her long life with love and generosity. A devoted wife to the late Dante Cattaneo (2000), Beloved mother of the late Larry (2024) and Roy (2014) Cattaneo and daughter-in-law Julie Cattaneo. Beloved grandmother to Melissa Tran and her husband Ty and Nicholas Cattaneo and his wife Beth. Dear great grandmother to Aria, Harrison, Josie and Evvy. Loving aunt to Joann Cattaneo, the late Peggy Corrado (2007), Gail Marrone, Robin McCord, Deborah DeSimone, Lisa Rose and Yvonne Panzarella. Best friend and loving sister to the late Yvonne Rose (2019).

Born in Paterson, she lived in Totowa most of her life before locating to Ohio to be closer to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law. She was an employee for Stainless Screw Company Manufacturing and as a telephone operator for NJ Bell. She loved reading mystery novels and visiting with family. Those who visited her home  left with a full stomach and heart. Her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 11am. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 10:30am-11am.
