Reda, William A. age 98 of Wayne at rest in PequannockTwp. on June 7, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Cappello) Reda (2024). Loving father of Richard Reda and his wife Stephanie and the late William P. Reda (1990). Dear grandfather of Olivia and R.J. Uncle of Patty Bylinski, Jackie Robb and Barbara Rizzo. Born in Paterson, he lived most of his life in Wayne. He was a Teacher for Passaic County Technical Institute High School, Wayne, for many years before retiring. Bill was a Troop Leader for the Boys Scouts of America and a dive instructor in Vero Beach, Fl. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Bill was also involved with Civil Air Patrol. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Thursday at 10:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit Thursday 9:00-10:15 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. James Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
