Burrafato, Carmelo age 88 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on May 15, 2025. Born in Vittoria, Prov. di Ragusa, Sicily, Italy, he came to the United States in 1970 and resided in Paterson. Carmelo was a baker in Italy and then when he came to America, he was a Mason/Laborer for the Laborers Union Local #3, Paterson before retiring.
Beloved husband of Angela (nee Imparato) Burrafato. Loving father of John Amore, Mary Amore, Frank Amore, Doreen Chiaramida & her husband Giuseppe, Anthony Amore & his wife Emily, Johnpippo Burrafato & his wife Dawn, and Cristina Keresztes & her husband Adam. Dear grandfather of Danielle, Angelica, Brianna, Luisa, Sebatiano, Antonio, Lucia, Carmelo, Isabella, Sabrina, Gianna and the late Giovanni. Caring great grandfather of Ava, Jake, Giuseppe and Sebastiano. He is predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. All services are private.
