Obituary of Eleanor T Di Fidi

Di Fidi, Eleanor T. (nee Fleming), age 77 of Oak Ridge, West Milford at rest in Pequannock Twp. on April 27, 2025. Wife of Anthony K. Di Fidi of West Milford. Mother of Lauren Moore and her husband Chris of Shelton, CT. and Kristin Williams and her husband Damon of Rockaway. Sister of Jane Fleming of West Milford, Adele Fleming of Pompton Plains, Pequannock Twp., Robert Fleming of Oak Ridge, Michael Fleming of Hackettstown, and James Fleming of Hardyston. Grandmother of Andrew Moore, Gabriella Moore, Connor Moore, Tyler Williams and Daniella Williams. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in West Milford for most of her life. She was an Elementary School Teacher for the West Milford Board of Education, Marshall Hill Elementary School for many years before retiring in 2012. Eleanor enjoyed gathering once a week with her siblings, referring to it as a "Club Meeting". She enjoyed the casinos of Atlantic City and Las Vegas, and enjoyed watching Bravo television. She enjoyed speaking on the telephone very often with her children and siblings, as well as facetiming with her grandchildren. Eleanor was a full time babysitter and caregiver to her grandchildren and she cherished any time spent with them. Funeral services for Eleanor will be private. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
