Obituary of Raffaele Errigo

Errigo, Raffaele age 92 of Totowa, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on April 26, 2025. Beloved husband of the late and former Giuseppa Rinzivillo (2017). Loving father of Josephine Sirni of Wayne, Robert Errigo and his wife Marie of Totowa, Marcello Errigo and his wife Rosemarie of Wayne and Tony Errigo and his wife Ana of Totowa. Dear grandfather of Vanessa, Sabrina, Dario, Alana, Evan, Marcello and Gianni. Brother of Lucia Trama of Totowa and the late Concetta Catania (2014). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and his beloved pet beagle, Rocky. Born in Comiso, Prov. di Ragusa, Sicily, Italy, he came to the U.S.A. in 1957 settling in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1969. He was an Employee for Marijon Dyeing & Finishing Co., East Rutherford for many years before retiring in 1998. Raffaele was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. He was a U.S. Army veteran also serving in the reserves. He was a member of the Dyers Local #1733. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to play poker and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Raffaele enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and fig trees. He also enjoyed his wine with dinners. He was a World Soccer fan cheering for Azzuri. Going out to eat with his family brought him great joy and he would often order Zuppa di Pesce. Celebrating with and being with his family and his grandchildren was his greatest joy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 4:00PM to 8:00 PM.
