Baires, David age 76 of Haledon at rest in Dover on April 24, 2025. Beloved husband of Eunice (Leiva) Baires. Loving father of Javier Baires & his wife Fadia of Georgia and Fatima Calle & her husband Nestor of NY. Dear grandfather of Xavier Baires, Kayla Baires, Tasneem Baires, Emily Calle and Maxwell Calle. Caring brother of Teresa Ruiz, Gladys Baires, Carlos Baires, Consuelo Contreras, Martha Montoya, Griselda Gutierrez, Elsie Baires, Milagro Palumbo, Roberto Baires, Manuel Baires, Jose Baires, and the late Alfredo Baires. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, he came to the United States in March of 1986 and resided in Paterson before moving to Haledon in 2000. He was an Agronomist for Programa Mundial Alimento, El Salvador. When he came to the United States, he then worked in the quality control department of ASR, Fairlawn. David was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM
