Obituary of Dr. Roger E Lope

Lope, Dr. Roger E. age 66 of Woodland Park passed away peacefully in Hackensack on April 23, 2025. Born in Passaic he lived in Clifton prior to moving to Woodland Park in 2000. Dr. Lope was a graduate of Montclair State University and Sherman Chiropractic College, South Carolina.

He was a licensed Chiropractor owning For the Love of Life Inc., Woodland Park. Doc was more than just a chiropractor to his countless patients; he was a dear friend and confidant and his holistic approach to health care managed to help all in need, no matter what the ailment.

He enjoyed playing baseball for many years, and was a member of "Play at the Plate". He was a monthly donor to Sherman Chiropractic College.

Beloved husband of the late Roxanne (Caruso) Lope. Loving father of Conrad Lope & his wife Christine, Kimberly Lope and Kelly Lope and their late mother, Donna. Devoted grandfather and "pop pops" to Harrison Lope and Osmond Lope. Dear brother of Andrea Achelis & her husband David, Peter Lope & his wife Joan and William Lope. Caring uncle of Jillian Lope. Doc is also survived by his beloved friend, Judy Vogel. As per his wishes, Dr. Lope was cremated privately. There will be a public Celebration of Life and Reception at St. Mary Help of Christians Church Hall, 410 Union Avenue, Paterson on THURSDAY, MAY 22, 2025 from 3:30-7:00 PM. (please note that the hall is located directly behind the church and there is ample parking). In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in memory of Dr. Lope to North Jersey Elks Development Disability Agency, 1481 Main Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey 07011. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, NJ.
