Ramundo, James J. age 84 of North Haledon at rest in Paramus on March 25, 2025. Beloved husband of Dianna (nee Conte) Ramundo. Loving father of Patricia Kasper and James Ramundo. Dear grandfather of Anthony Kasper and his wife Julie. Brother of the late Frank Ramundo. Brother-in-law of Josephine Ramundo. Uncle of Robert Ramundo. Born in Paterson, he lived most of his life in North Haledon. James was the owner of Ramundo Roofing, Paterson for many years before retiring. He was also a Battalion Chief for the Paterson Fire Department, for thirty years before retiring. After retirement James also worked part-time in the wine department at Bottle King, Wayne and was very knowledgeable with wine. He was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Prospect Park. He was also a member of the National Guard and the Knights of Columbus St. Michael's Council in Paterson. James was an avid animal lover. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Paul R.C. Church, Prospect Park at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4:00-8:00 PM.
