Obituary of Damiano Santoro

Santoro, Damiano age 77 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on March 4, 2025. Dear brother of Maria Santoro, Antonietta Santoro, Cosimo Santoro, Bruna Intrieri and the late Pellegrino Santoro, the late Raffaele Santoro and the late Lucia Agresta. Loving son of the late Giuseppe and the late Graziella (nee Romeo) Santoro. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, great nieces, and great nephews in Italy and the USA. Born in Serino, Prov. di Avellino, Italy, he came to the United States in 1965 and resided in Paterson, then Totowa, before moving to Wayne. He was a Butcher for Santoro's Meat Market, Totowa for many years before retiring. He was also the co-owner of the St. Michael Club, Paterson. He was an avid soccer player in Italy, he loved to go to Atlantic City, take cruises, travel and visit his hometown in Italy often. He especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and time at the club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
