Pasquariello, Judith Ann “Judi” (nee Barbarisi), 79 of Totowa, passed away on February 20, 2025. Judi was born and raised in Paterson, NJ before marrying and settling with her husband James in Totowa, NJ where they had two sons, Michael and Steven. Judi received her bachelors and master’s degrees in Education from William Paterson University before becoming a teacher for the Totowa Borough school system for over 30 years. Even after her retirement, Judi’s love of education was shown through her active involvement in the NJREA. Judi was a devout Catholic and her family and friends were always the center of her life. Judi loved to entertain with her fabulous cooking and would welcome all into her home and kitchen. Hosting Christmas Eve was an important tradition to her and was looked forward to by all of those who came. Judi was an avid gardener who would often be in the yard on a sunny day for hours. She loved being surrounded by her family and looked forward to trips to Atlantic City with her brother and cousins. As a devoted grandmother, she wouldn’t dream of missing Dante’s baseball or soccer games and Giovanna’s cheer competitions. Other hobbies she enjoyed were reading, traveling, baking, exercising, and cooking. Judi is predeceased by her husband James and survived by her son Michael Pasquariello, Steven Pasquariello with wife Diana, two cherished grandchildren, Giovanna and Dante, her beloved brother, Angelo Barbarisi and late wife Lucy, nieces Diana Melillo and husband Victor, and Debi Costantino, her brother-in-law Frank Pasquariello and wife Angela and nieces Deborah Lamer and husband Derek, Johanna Kimberlin and husband James, Lauren Felago and husband Michael, and Claire Cowles and husband Marty.
