Mason. Dear son of Joseph and his wife Pat and late Irene (nee Vandenbrouck) D'Arco (2020). Brother of Joseph D'Arco and his wife Barbara, Michael D'Arco and his wife Jennifer and Steven D'Arco and Dawn. Uncle of Sarah, Chris, Joe, Giana, Dominic, Michael and the late Deanna (2024). Born in Passaic, he lived most of his life in Passaic County. He was a Police Sergeant for the Paterson Police Department, Paterson, for twenty-five years before retiring in 2024. Dave was the President of Unico Passaic-Clifton Chapter. He was a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and the Passaic Valley Elks Lodge 2111, Totowa. He was also a member of the PBA Local #1, the New Jersey State PBA, and the New Jersey Police Honor Legion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 A.M. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Friday 4:00-8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Melanoma Research Foundation, 1420 K Street, N.W. 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20005 and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101 would be appreciated.
