Brino, Susan F. (nee Filosa), age 61 of Maywood at rest in Maywood on February 9, 2025. Beloved wife of twenty eight years to Joseph Brino of Maywood. Loving mother of Jessica Brino of Maywood and James Enright of Maywood. Dear cousin of Michael Scarpa of Sayerville. Also surviving is her beloved pet dog, Charlie. Born in Jersey City, she has lived in Maywood for the past twenty eight years. Susan was a Special Education Teacher for the Jersey City Board of Education for thirty three years before retiring in 2018. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson. She was a member of the JCEA and the NJEA. Susan was an animal lover. She loved to travel to Walt Disney World with her family. She also enjoyed the Jersey shore, especially Cape May. Susan was an avid Bruce Springsteen fan. Susan cherished any time spent with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Association, 425 Eagle Rock Avenue, Suite 203, Roseland, N.J. 07068 and/or the North Shore Animal League, 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, N.Y. 11050 would be greatly appreciated.
