From the very start, my parents chose Anthony to be my godfather, knowing that his bond with my father—rooted in a lifelong friendship since grammar school and through the Paterson police academy—was something truly special. But calling him my godfather hardly captures what he meant to me. He was a blessing in every way, loving with all his heart and bringing endless joy to those around him. He was always full of life and always made me feel like I was his own.
From the moment I could talk, he was "Uncle Anthony" to me—because family isn’t just about blood, it's about love. And he loved with a heart so big, so pure, that you couldn't help but feel safe and cherished in his presence. He never failed to remind me how special I was to him, through every gathering and every card he sent through the mail. To have had him in my life was one of the greatest gifts, and though he may no longer be here, the love he gave will forever live in my heart. He was family in every sense. Until we meet again Uncle Anthony.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Anthony's passing. We dated when we were just teenagers back high school - almost 40 years ago! He was such a sweet and gentle and soul back then, and it sounds like he still was. I'm so sorry for your loss.

It is with much sadness that I learned of Anthony’s passing . I have such fond memories of him as a student in my class at West Paterson Memorial School ! He was always a happy, friendly ,respectful student . I would meet him occasionally years later and it was always a pleasure to talk with him ! My thoughts and prayers are with Anthony’s family , especially his Mother, at this sad time of loss ! May you rest peacefully now in God’s Paradise Anthony .
