Obituary of Ron Fierro

Fierro, Ron, Sr. age 75 of Haledon at rest in Haledon on April 13, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Judith Ann (nee Savastano) Fierro. Loving father of Thomas Fierro and his wife Jo Anne, Lawrence Fierro, Jr. and his wife Valerie, Anthony Fierro, Laurie Leonard, Vincent Fierro, Nicole Fierro and the late Sissy Fierro. Also survived by many grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Dear brother of Tom, Benny, Kathy, Joey, Jerry, Mary and Valerie Fierro and the late William Fierro and Beverly De Stefano. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for 35 years before moving to Haledon 40 years ago. He was a Driver for Kohler Distributing, Hawthorne for 25 years before retiring in 2013. He was a Marine veteran, a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Drum Core and an avid bowler at Fair Lawn, Lodi and Parkway Lanes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
