Obituary of Maria Ferrigno

Ferrigno, Maria (nee Migliore), age 82 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on April 13, 2018. Beloved wife of sixty years of Lorenzo Ferrigno of Paterson. Loving Mother of Rocco Ferrigno and his wife Linda of Lincoln Park, Concettina Scrafano and her husband Anthony of Lodi and Felicia Tarantino and her husband James of Montville. Dear grandmother of Lorenzo, Nicolette, Stephanie, Michael, Anthony and James. Sister of Concettina Mallia, Giovanni Migliore, Corrado Migliore, Anna Allegranza and the late Salvatore Migliore. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Pachino, Prov. di Siragusa, Sicily, Italy she came to the U.S.A. in 1960 settling in Paterson. She was a Seamstress for various coat factories in Paterson. After that, she was a Baker for Pathmark Supermarket, Hackensack. Mrs. Ferrigno was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Paterson. She enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden. She was a fantastic cook and phenomenal baker and was well known for her Christmas cookies. She sewed needlepoint. She loved the Jersey shore and visiting her family in Canada. Her grandchildren were her life and she cherished time spent with her family. Maria was unconditional love. She was selfless. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Anthony R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
