Obituary of Gary Cittrich

Cittrich, Gary age 52 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on April 1, 2018. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Pepe) Cittrich formerly of Paterson, currently of Totowa. Loving father of Gary Kenneth Cittrich of Totowa and Dana Cittrich of Totowa. Dear son of Angelina (nee Scalzo) Cittrich and the late Kenneth A. Cittrich (2005). Loving brother of Karen Hamm of Barnegat and the late Kenneth Cittrich and the late Marie Mills. Gary is also survived by his faithful companion Roxie as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Totowa for all of his life. He was an automotive technician for the NJ Turnpike Authority, District 8, East Rutherford for 25 years. Mr. Cittrich was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #227 for about 20 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge Post #2111, Totowa. He enjoyed spending time with his family, having backyard BBQ's and spending time in his pool.  Gary also had a love for music.  He also loved to shoot pool with his friends at the legion.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
