Curcio, Laura R. (nee Sausa), age 90 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on February 1, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Paul Curcio (1992). Loving mother of Diane Capone and her husband Domenico of Totowa, Paul Curcio of Wantage, and Mark Curcio, the late Barbara Curcio and Patty Balen of Franklin Lakes. Dear daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Maria (nee Clemente) Sausa. Adoring grandmother of Brian Capone and his wife Ana of Long Valley, Dominic Capone and his wife Gina of Fairfield, Michael Capone of Totowa, Heather Curcio of Englewood, Ashley Curcio of West New York, Ryan Curcio and Jennifer Hough of Wantage, P.J. Curcio and his wife Kelsi of Wantage, Carlee Curcio of Wantage, and Dawson Curcio of Wantage. Loving great-grandmother of Victoria, Antonio, Jayden, Kylie and Siena Capone and Ryler Curcio. Dear sister of Margie Mennella and the late Gary Sausa, John Sausa, Salvatore Sausa, Vincent Sausa, Angelina Michelli, Josephine Lucibello, and Pauline Legory. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson until she was married, then moved to Totowa where she lived for the rest of her life. She was a Homemaker for most of her life but before she was married she worked at a coat factory in Paterson. Mrs. Curcio was a member of the Totowa Women's Club, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and St. James Rosary Society. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
