Cerrato, Mario age 84 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on January 15, 2018. Born in Avellino, Italy he came to the United States in 1948 residing in Paterson before moving to Wayne in 1998. He was a truck driver for the Teamster Union. He was also a security guard for Falls City Security, Paterson. After that, he worked for Trio Dying & Finishing, Paterson for many years before retiring. Mr. Cerrato was a member of the Fidelians of America, North Haledon and was also a member of the Italian-American Police Association. Beloved husband of Josephine (nee Amato) Cerrato. Loving father of John Cerrato & his wife Lisa of Wayne. Dear grandfather of Angelica and Jason. Caring brother of Anna Pagano of Toms River. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
