Spagnola, Elizabeth (nee Poppo) age 104 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on December 27, 2017.

Born in Maybrook, NY she lived in Paterson her entire life. She was a seamstress for various clothing companies in Paterson before retiring. Mrs. Spagnola was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Paterson. She loved to cook, sew, and play cards. She loved traveling to Florida and was a snowbird. Beloved wife of the late Louis Spagnola. Loving Mother of Ret. Paterson Police Chief Lawrence Spagnola & his wife Valerie of Paterson. Dear grandmother of Valerie D'Ambrosio & her husband John, Dolores Catania & Frank, Jr., Laura Spagnola-Vargas & her husband Angel, Louis Spagnola & his wife Sandra and Tonya Salley & her husband Roy. Caring great grandmother of Valerie and Sarah D'Ambrosio, Gabrielle and Frankie Catania, Kimberly, Kaylynn, Anthony, Joseph, and Isabella Vargas, Lawrence, Louis, and Sienna Spagnola and Ava Salley. Dear sister of Rose Tavano of Wayne and the late Alex, Anthony, Joseph, Frank "Pee Wee", Sammy and Angelo De Ciuceis, Jean Menzo, Mildred De Stefano, and Connie Hanke . Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
